MINISTRY OF TRAD Debuts in Belfast with Project Smok

A bold new live music event, MINISTRY OF TRAD, will make its debut at Mandela Hall, Belfast on Thursday, 6 August 2026, showcasing the cutting edge of contemporary traditional and Celtic fusion music.

Presented by Anglo-Irish Productions, the event blends high-energy performance, modern production, and club-influenced rhythms to reimagine traditional music for today’s audiences.

On the line up is a plethora of International Talent. Project Smok, the acclaimed Scottish neo-trad trio whose progressive sound and electrifying live shows have earned them over 15 million streams worldwide. Further major acts will be announced in the coming months.

CLADA is a Traditional Irish Folk Band from County Galway, Ireland. Formed in March 2024, CLADA is comprised for five Irish musicians who all bring something different to the forefront from their musical backgrounds respectively. In that short space of time, CLADA have become a viral sensation on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, have collaborated with the NFL on the announcement of the Pittsburgh Steelers Game in Croke Park and have just completed their first Irish Tour which saw them travelling the length and breadth of Ireland. With the Irish Tour over, CLADA completed a two month stint in Raglan Road Irish Pub, situated in the heart of Orlando, Florida in the United States of America to further their musical career and bring their music to the American audience. CLADA also recently just finished a UK tour which saw them playing in Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Winchester.

SuperCéilí is the only show of its type which combines acoustic and digital instruments to create electronic Irish Dance Music. The technical wizardry of Peter Staunton and the unmatched stage presence of Sean Leahy combine to create a gigantic sound and spectacle. SuperCéilí fills dance floors with a unique combination of very old and very new music.
