Titanic Belfast in Belfast
Belfast is the world's largest Titanic visitor experience, exploring the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way.
Titanic Belfast tells the story of the Titanic, from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to its maiden voyage and subsequent place in history.
The one-hour Discovery Tour explores the history of the famous barrel-vaulted Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices where Titanic and the rest of the mighty 'Olympic' class ships were designed, and provides an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the men who built Titanic - the world’s most famous ship – in Belfast's historic shipyard.
Hear fascinating facts about the great ship from your personal walking guide, and marvel at the maritime metaphors hidden within the architectural design of Titanic Belfast.
SS Nomadic, the last remaining White Star Line ship, settles in the Hamilton dry Dock in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
SS Nomadic was returned to Belfast from Paris, France, and was restored to its former glory, when it served as a tender ship to Titanic in Cherbourg, France, ferrying first and second class passengers from the dockside.
She now resides proudly beside Titanic Belfast, the world's largest Titanic visitor experience, which sits beside the slipway on which Titanic was built.
