Men’s Alliance Womens Walk for Men

9th November 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Will You Walk for Him? Stand with Us for the 1 in 3 Victims of Domestic Abuse Who are Men.

Domestic abuse affects everyone—women, men, and children. But today, we’re focusing on a group whose stories often go unheard: men who are victims of domestic abuse. Too often, societal expectations and stigma prevent them from coming forward.

We’re asking women to take a stand. Walk in solidarity for the men who feel they can’t speak out—for fear of being judged, ridiculed, or misunderstood. Many men who suffer in silence are afraid of being branded as “angry”, “shouters” or “disruptive” if they speak up.

As women, we can help amplify their voices. By walking for them, we send a clear message: domestic abuse doesn’t discriminate, and male victims deserve to be seen, supported, and believed—just like any other victim.

This walk isn’t about shifting focus away from women or downplaying their experiences. It’s about creating space for all victims, acknowledging that abuse takes many forms, and showing that we stand united in fighting it—no matter the gender of the victim.

Will you walk for the 1 in 3 victims of domestic abuse who are men?

Join us in raising awareness, breaking the silence, and challenging the stigma. Together, we can show male victims they are not alone, and that their voices matter too.

Together, we can make a difference.
